Hazardous Crossing

Lots of college campuses have pedestrian paths shared by bicycles.  Some have separate, dedicated bike lanes.  UCSB is the only campus where I’ve had to wait a minute or more, for a break in the two-wheeled traffic.  One of my routes has two intersections where the pedestrian path crosses a divided, two-way bike lane.  At peak hours, usually the class change times around lunch hour, it’s like trying to cross a 4-lane vehicle highway.
